I think Sapphire has way more butterflies/thoughts that Ruby because of her Future Vision. She began her life seeing innocent planets getting conquered and destroyed by Homeworld and once she and Ruby joined the rebellion as Garnet, how many times do you think she saw her friends getting killed by the enemy?
